Mature Drivers
My wife and I both retired this year and while it is fantastic that we are able to enjoy the fruits of our labour, we are just about getting used to living on a reduced income. Luckily we managed to pay off our mortgage so don’t need to worry about that, but there are still a lot of bills coming in. Recently we received a renewal notice for our car insurance and we were just about to automatically pay it when a friend told us that some car insurance companies offer deals for mature drivers. A quick search on the net and a bit of a ring round and we found some really good offers that will save us a few bob. I would definitely recommend anyone else in the same position doing the same, as we are now in the enviable position of trying to decide what to spend the money on that we saved.
