Taking money out of the hole-in-the-wall by means of your credit cards can prove to be a huge mistake. You have to pay a charge for the privilege of using the cards, perhaps at 2.5% or 3%, with a minimum for a small withdrawal. And, on top of that of course the credit card issuer will charge you interest right from the date of the transaction, with no interest free period.
