Lawyer in the Recession

A friend of mine had to write the bar exam last year to graduate as a Toronto Lawyer has finally achieved his goal of becoming a Toronto Lawyer, although he’s finished with his law degree. He’s not sure of the job outlook for lawyers at the moment. He was told by one his professors that lawyers are being cut back at the moment because of the recession, many law firms that deal with business seem to be having less business as business are cutting back and the ones that can’t make it aren’t surviving thus reducing the work load of the lawyers for those firms.
