Bottled Water - Bad For The Environment And Expensive
The market for bottled water is enormous - more than 200 billion bottles are sold worldwide every year. I read somewhere that if you took all those bottles and laid them side by side there would be enough to go the distance to the moon and back - 56 times! That’s a lot of plastic and it’s not very good for the environment. Personally, I prefer to use a Brita filter jug for my water. All the parts, both the jug and the filter, are completely recyclable, so I know it’s better for the environment. It’s a lot cheaper as well.
