What’s the most surefire way to prove which clothes you really wear and love? Turn your clothes hangers the opposite direction when you hang up your clothes. So, instead of the curved part of the hanger going away from you, it will face out toward you.
Every time you wear and wash a clothing item, then you can hang it up turning the hanger the correct way.
At the end of the season, look in your closet and see all the hangers that weren’t turned the correct way. That means you didn’t wear those clothes all season! Not once were they an option that you chose when you got dressed. This is a great time to gather them all up and donate to a worthy cause; someone else will love them while you are organizing your closet!
