Leash training a dog is a fairly simple task

Leash training a dog is a fairly simple task. The key is consistency. Every time you take your dog outside, always remember to leash you dog. At first, hold the leash to where there is little slack thereby making the dog to stay at your side. This will show control by not allowing the dog to run ahead and setting the pace. Overtime, the dog will be walking by your side without any coercion. In fact, it is even possible your dog could go without a leash and remain by your side with time and training. Keeping a routine with your dog and encouraging positive habits will benefit both you and the dog.  Get more dog training tips.
