Our Dog Was Too Much For Us
When we lost our dog, my mother in law brought us a puppy. He was beautiful Red Heeler that we named Copper, for obvious reasons. Because we had a young family, it was very difficult to attend to his puppy obedience training and we had a lot of problems with his behavior. It was almost impossible to keep him from jumping on everyone and everything and he loved to find things and drag them around the yard, especially plastic. In the end, we admitted that he was just too much for our family. We didn’t have the time to train him properly and so we found him a better home. It was sad to see him go, but I was happy that we would get the attention that he needed from a more qualified family.
