House Counts Down the Days In “Christmas Vacation”
My favorite holiday movie of all time is “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen this movie, but it doesn’t matter. I watch it every Christmas season and it still makes me laugh. The situations in the movie are exaggerated, but almost everyone has had something similar happen to them. I think we all have had battles with the Christmas lights or brought home a tree that doesn’t fit in our house. And of course, Christmas is a time for family. I’m just thankful that I don’t have a Cousin Eddie in mine. I like the part of the movie where they open the doors on the little house and it reveals how many days are left until Christmas. We have a similar Christmas Countdown at our house. As the days grow closer to Christmas, that’s when I begin to panic.
