We looked at many different wedding invitations before we found the one that we liked. And then when we picked it we did not realize what a commotion it would cause. We chose the palm tree wedding invitations because we liked the way they looked, not because of any particular significance that palm trees had had in our lives. Now everyone is trying to get us to tell them the meaning behind the palm trees. Everyone, including our parents are convinced that we are trying to tell them something and they have been on us since the invitations were mailed out, to tell them what they mean.
