Graterplate

When hiking in the mountains and even hiking anywhere, the urge to have fine food prepared with the freshest ingredients is always my number one priority. Trying to fix a gourmet meal in the wilds presents its challenges and of course when one is preparing this type of a meal the graterplate is always at hand. Putting it in a backpack is a lot easier that trying to put a ten pound cheese grater in the pack and lugging it through fields and over rivers. This little wonder weighs less that a pound and will do almost all the work of it twelve pound cousin.
