Which One to Select
I’ve been glancing at graduate schools for some time now, but I am having a hard time making up my mine. Currently I work with children with autism and down syndrome, and other children with speech delays and developmental disabilities. This has been a superb job, and I have enjoyed both the work and the clients I work with. I’ve had to place a lot of miles on my car being to their homes to work one on one with the kids, but again I feel really it has all been worth it. But as I take a break for awhile, I’m not sure if it’s something I’ll be able to carry on to do as I get older. The hours are irregular, and when I begin a family that might be a challenge. Originally I was planning to get my masters in speech therapy and essentially continue the job I do now at a higher pay scale.
