Feeling Very Safe
After my children were all grown and my husband passed away, I was in need of additional income. My big old house had a fully finished basement that could easily be rented out. Out of concern for my safety, my kids were dead-set against the idea. Knowing they were wise to be cautious, I agreed to always let them check public criminal records on any possible renters. This service has given us peace of mind that I will not get someone who is only looking to take advantage. So far so good. I have been fortunate to find a responsible young man working his way through med school. When the time comes for him to move on, I will go through the same process as I did with him in order to assure my safety.
