My Inspiration For Surgical Technologist Training
A few years ago, I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. They were impacted, (I still don’t exactly know what that means) and the doctor wanted to remove them all at once. Since I’m a sissy and don’t like pain, I agreed, wanting to get it all over as soon as possible. I don’t remember a lot, other than the girl assisting the doctor was very nice. In fact, it’s the memory of how comforting she was that inspired me to get surgical technologist training. Now I’m the one helping the doctor during surgery, and I always remember to be comforting to the patient, because it’s something that I know I appreciate when I’m in surgery.
