Counselling and Therapy
I can’t say I am completely familiar with counselling or therapy in general, it is not something I have ever felt the need for. Having said that it clearly benefits a huge number of people. I was recently recommended a Counsellor London for my cousin who is going through a hard time. She did follow this up and has had very good experiences, hence my posting this article. I get the impression that half of the battle is someone accepting they need help, and the other half is finding the right counsellor in the right are….such as Counselling London. If you can get these two things in place then it seems people can have real benefits form this form of therapy.
I sometimes wonder whether from a personal point of view it would be worth having some therapy as a way of release. Someone to talk to, someone to listen. I spend a lot of my time listening to other people and directing them one way or another…..and that can become a lonely place. It is rare someone asks how I am, or listens to my issues. It’s not something I dwell on, but I wonder if I may benefit from a counsellor. I am not sure I will ever find out as I don’t know whether I would ever be pushed to the point of doing it, particularly being as busy as London keeps me! I guess time will tell. I do know that for some people it is a lifeline and has huge benefits for them, so it should not be discounted and should be encouraged as the benefits can be great.
